The intent is to treat every possible hiding place to ensure bed bugs - at all stages of their life cycle - are completely eliminated.

Steam remediation treatments work by delivering lethal temperatures into deep recesses and inaccessible areas where bed bugs hide. The use of steam is effective for killing bed bugs in all stages of development and allows Arrow Pest Group specialists to treat fabric surfaces such as mattresses, box springs and upholstered furniture which usually prohibit the use of insecticides.

The treatment is chemical-free and effective in moving bed bugs out of cracks and crevices within furniture, making them more likely to expose themselves and move into contact with applied insecticides (if any).
